Information for oral and poster presenters
Instructions for oral presentation
Oral presentations are organized in three sessions and indicated in the program together with the time of presentation of each contribution. Sessions are scheduled in consecutive time blocks per day; one time block is 120 minutes in duration. A scientific session can cover multiple time blocks.
Each oral presentation has a total length of 20 minutes (15 min. talk plus 5 min. for discussion). The presentation length includes the time for change over. The allocated presentation time cannot be exceeded. Solicited presentations may vary in duration.
Presenters must give a live presentation. No pre-recorded talks are allowed.
Conference rooms are equipped with a computer (Windows 11) and beamer. Please bring your presentation files to the conference saved on a USB-Stick. For the presentation, please do not bring along your own notebook. Presentation files must be uploaded at the very latest in the (coffee or lunch) break before your session starts. A conference assistant will support you in uploading your presentation slides.
Presentation files are preferable in PowerPoint *.ppt/pptx format. Alternatively, PDF is possible. Please use 16:9 format for your presentation. Please try to keep the file size below 50 MB per contribution.
Any participation in a session as presenter or attendee requires a paid registration for the conference.
Instructions for poster presentations
Poster presentations are organized in poster sessions and indicated in the program together with the attendance time for the presentation (the actual time the author is expected to be at their poster).
Poster boards are in portrait format and authors can make use of the full dimensions of 970 mm width × 1.300 mm height. We suggest to use a poster size close to the upright German DIN A0 format, which equates to 841 mm width (33,11 in) × 1.189 mm (46.81 in) height.
Adhesive tape is used for attaching the poster to the poster board. Tape will be available at the poster board. Conference assistants in the poster area will assist in putting up or taking down the posters.
The number of each poster abstract and of its corresponding poster board is provided in the appropriate session program.
Please note that the organizers are not able to provide the printout of posters.
Any participation in a session as presenter or attendee requires a paid registration for the conference.
